The meeting was opened by U.S. Consul General Gretchen Cureton, who emphasized the strong economic ties between Poland and the United States and the readiness of the U.S. administration to support Polish investors. Professor Piotr Dobosz, President of the Kościuszko Mound Committee, recalled the historic foundations of the Polish-American partnership, which today continues to evolve through modern business cooperation.
During the event Łukasz Chyla, Head of External Relations, presented the Committee’s Polish-American initiatives, including the planned establishment of the Polish-American Center.
The program featured expert presentations by David Weil (U.S. Department of Commerce), Justyna Regan (Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP), Marek Buczak (PFR TFI), Nicholette Ross and Kornelia Kostka (Global Location Strategies), as well as Jacek Kulpa and Paweł Szewczyk (Fakro).
One of the highlights of the program were B2B meetings with representatives of 10 U.S. states and economic development organizations, who presented investment opportunities and potential locations for their projects. The event concluded with a climb to The Kościuszko Mound.
We are pleased that Kościuszko Mound – a symbol of the shared heritage of Poland and the United States – once again became a place for dialogue and the development of transatlantic cooperation.
